A number of vendors have produced garments that incorporate sensors to monitor the wearer’s vital signs. The data from these sensors can be collected by a wireless device and, if this device is GSM or GPRS enabled, transferred to a remote server. This technology is used in clinical trials and to monitor children while they sleep.
